Patio furniture protective covers can increase the lifespan of your patio furniture.
Our innovative design team has developed our new line of heavy gauge vinyl covers that cover your entire set, table and chairs. Our protective covers include a draw string to ensure your protective cover will be secured and endure the winter elements. Our rhinoweave fabric keeps our protective covers from freezing or cracking in the winter.
We recommend that your patio furniture be completely dry and free from moisture at the time you cover your investment for the season.
There are a variety of protective patio furniture covers sizes. Call or visit a store for information on which size meets your needs.
As a reminder BBQ, patio heater and umbrella covers are also available.

Ribfest 2009: Patio Furniture Toronto

For many the BBQ is the most popular appliance over the spring and summer months. BBQs are now equipped with built in rotisseries, side burners, smoke boxes, infrared burners and even night lights, we just can’t get enough. Ribfest brings out the perfectionists, the BBQ lovers but most of all our taste buds.
Here are some helpfull hints on how to improve your grilling results:
- Apply a light coating of cooking oil to your grills prior to grilling to prevent foods from sticking. This also will reduces charring and flare ups that tend to burn your food.
- Cook similar food portions together to ensure they cook evenly. On this note this will also include your cuts of particular meats.
- Never pierce foods while they are cooking on the grill, this will dry out the rich flavours. The idea of grilling is to sear your flavours within the food and prevent its escape.
- Try not to turn foods over frequently. This should be rule #1 as turning your food makes it difficult to cook it proportionately.
- Add sugar based sauces, i.e. Diana Sauce, during the latter stages of cooking to prevent charring. Sugar based sauces need very little time absorb into your meats.
- When cooking with strings or wooden skewers, i.e. pork roasts or chicken, soak the strings prior to cooking to prevent them from burning. Don’t be afraid to leave the skewers soaking in water overnight.
- Use water, fruit juice, wines, or other marinades to add flavour and moisture to slow cooked foods such as chicken.
- Always trim away extra fat from foods to reduce the number of flare ups during cooking.
Even if your not that BBQ “fanatic” we strongly recommend visiting Ribfest and watch grilling at its finest. We also found that many of the participants will answer many of your questions and give you helpful hints. If you need any information on BBQs or have some general inquiries visit one of our many locations or email us @ web@insideoutpatio.ca

Shade Solutions
Patio Furniture
There are many shade solutions to assist us in enjoying our backyards and decks. The most common reason for shade is to protect our skin from harmful UV rays. It seems when we are ready to enjoy our time outdoors having a tea, relaxing or dining the sun seems to be beating down on us.
There are a variety of shade solutions made possible. Traditional table umbrella’s are the first on our minds. Traditionally, 7.5′ and 9′ umbrella’s were the standard size. Now available are over-sized table umbrella’s including 10′ and 11′. The newest design is an 8′x11′ rectangular umbrella.
Cantilever umbrella’s, which are offset from the tables, offer much larger sizes and coverage a larger surface. These umbrella’s work well over patio furniture sets, lounge chairs and spa’s. Again, the industry standard was about a 10′ round or square with limited range. Today, we have come a long way and the cantilever umbrella sizes have increased to massive 13′.
Cantilever umbrella’s typically moved vertically and you would position the umbrella behind the sun. Our newest designs have a rotating pivot which allows you to move 360 degrees and cover much more space. Moreover, the latest umbrella tilt technology is employed and you can virtually set your umbrella at various degrees beating the sun.
Awnings have been and will always be part of our casual furniture industry. Now you can customize your awning to meet the exact size of your space. You can choose from an endless selection of fabrics that are all weather, add a motor, side panel, and aluminum all weather covers.
Gazebo’s are always a favourite. Standard with our gazebos is mosquito netting and side privacy panels. Be creative and add some outdoor lighting or a fan to your gazebo. There are always a selection of sizes available including 10′x10′, 10′x14, 12′x12′ to list a few.
